It’s a Christmas miracle!

Oh Canada. I knew you’d smarten up.

PS: try to find this on any of the international news stations. It’s impossible. Canada doesn’t seem to matter according to BBC, CNN International or Fox”News”.

Oh, Jen...as much as I dislike Harper, what is the point of an election if some coalition takes our democracy rights away from us?
Ahhh...politics....

Technically it was voted for, as a nation the people of Canada did not vote that strongly in favor of Haper, he was never set in the position, the laws do say that a minority govt can be overturned.

It was a minority government and it has been for the two elections he was elected in. As a minority govt he has to realize that this is possible and that although he had enough seats to be elected, he obviously wasn't good enough for the whole nation. As a PM under that kind of govt he should have been trying to please his critics and those that did not vote for him, instead at this point he's taken to insulting and petty arguments. The coalition was voted for, just not as a unified party, at this point if some coalition can do better, then the more power to them.

just think of all the tax payers money that is being wasted... there shouldn't have been an election in the first place... it was just so harper could try to get a majority government (and pull out the sexy sweater vests)

i think there are better things to spend canada's money on rather than fellating stephen harper and the other political leaders' egos.... like, oh i don't know, anything BUT that...

congrats Lauren for being the first person to use fellating on my blog... and I think that's the first sexual inuendo, so yay!

One thing that this money is not better spent on... War. Which we all know our sexy sweater vested leader loves.

wa-hoo!! glad i was the first one to leave a sexual innuendo and use he word fellating - which was quite a clean word to use(compared to the alternatives) even tho it may not always be a clean act (so i hear)

i just think this whole coalition malarky is going to cost soooo much money and nothing will really be resolved...
